Introduction:
This training program is tailored for Decision makers and IT professionals in HMIS vendors. The main objectives are:
- To better understand:
- Basic concepts of TQM in healthcare
- The roles and responsibilities of a quality manager (QM) in a healthcare (HC) facility.
- Information needs of a QM in a HC facility.
- Demonstrate tools and solutions to satisfy the QM information needs.
- Present information needs for accreditation: Joint Commission International (JCI), Egyptian accreditation standards and ISO 9001.
- Discuss case studies of HC provider accreditation with focus on information needs, assessment and communication.

The following levels from HMIS and Healthcare IT solution providers:
Top management, Development manager and personnel, Marketing and sales managers and personnel, implementation manager and personnel,
Hospital staff: Top management, IT managers and quality managers.
Prerequisites:
Experience with Hospital management information system.
Methodology
This training course will incorporate different training strategies to achieve course objectives. Mastery learning approach is emphasized and interactive training methods are utilized including illustrated lectures, group discussion, small group activities and presentations.
